  1. CONDITIONS OF USE:
  • A grooved part must be used within other parts whose thickness is at least equal to the diameter, except in special cases
  1. DRILLING PARTS:
  • At nominal diameter, the tolerance is H11:

Chamfer drilling at 60° is essential to assist in tightening the grooves

If the manufacturing range requires re-boring, set the tolerance to D10 to leave a slight gap between the hole and the pin body

In the case of separately drilled parts, make sure the eccentric tolerance is respected

Standard: Lathe-cut steel, stamped steel, semi-hard or stainless steel

On request: Carbon steel, Alloy steel, NDT Stainless steel, Brass, Light alloys, etc.

  1. a) Depending on the assembly conditions:
  • The hardness must be at least equal to that of the parts the pins pass through to avoid the groove tops becoming flush
  1. b) Depending on the conditions of use:
  • Resistance to shear, fatigue, wear and corrosion
  1. INSTALLATION TECHNIQUES:
  • Manually, by use of a hammer or automatically with a hydraulic press connected to a bowl feeder
  • We recommend the use of symmetrical pins that do not require positioning.
